Join Monique for a 4 day (3 night) Silent Yoga and Meditation Retreat at the tranquil and chic Bell Valley Retreat located in the hills above Anderson Valley (just 2.5  hours north of San Francisco). This is truly a special place, as the retreat land spans more than 600 acres, with extensive trails weaving through rolling oak hills and open meadows. Each element of Bell Valley Retreat promotes harmony and integration with the land - designed to honor the natural landscape originally settled by Native Pomo tribes.

 

Entering the New Year in silence can be a profound way to renew ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our daily practices will focus on deepening presence with ourselves and reflecting on the meaning that arriving into New Year holds for each of us.

 

During this retreat, we will have exclusive access to the entire property. The retreat experience will include:

  • 4 sessions per day led by Monique which includes:

    • Morning & evening meditation

    • Pranayama (breath work)

    • Alignment-based vinyasa (all levels)

    • Yin yoga & Restorative yoga

  • Opening and closing circle

  • Free time each afternoon for self-reflection, hiking, soaking in the hot tub or treat yourself to a bodywork session (separate cost)

  • Three nourishing, organic vegetarian meals daily

 

All levels of yoga practice are welcome. Some meditation experience is preferred, but not required. Our retreat will begin at 4pm on December 29 and end at 2pm on January 1.

 

Meals:

 

Our chefs Daveed and Jamuna have been creating culinary delights and offering bodywork for retreats, workshops, and private events together for several years. Their passion is to offer true nourishment and joy to the senses with healthy, enlivening, colorful food. Their creations are inspired by culinary traditions from around the world (Thai, Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian, Mediterranean, Moroccan etc), bringing traditional dishes and flavors new life. Ingredients are organic, seasonal and locally sourced when possible. Creative alternatives are offered to satisfy specific diets.

A $250 non-refundable deposit holds your spot and guarantees room selection, or you may pay in full now. Final payment is due November 29.

I invite you to join me for a luxurious day of yoga and meditation practice at the beautiful and serene Green Gulch Zen Center in Marin. During our time together, we will bring mindful attention to our moment to moment experience as a way to deepen presence and intimacy with ourselves and our surroundings. We will focus on practices that quiet the mind and open the heart, supporting continuity of mindfulness and the unfolding of insight.

 

The day will include:

  • Gentle morning mindful flow yoga (all levels)

  • Sitting and walking meditation (some guidance & instruction)

  • Organic vegetarian lunch prepared by Green Gulch farm

  • Tea service

  • Afternoon yin & restorative yoga

  • Enjoy the seclusion and peace that a day of quiet practice in community offers.

 

All levels of yoga practice are welcome. Some meditation experience is preferred, but not required. Please bring your own water bottle and any additional snacks you may need.
